أول مسجد في التاريخ تحت سطح البحر.

" التوحيد " هو اسم المسجد الذي تمكّن غواصون سعوديون في منطقة تبوك شمال السعودية من بناءه تحت الماء في شواطئ موقع يسمى "مقناء" .

وقال الغواص حمدان بن سالم الجنك المسعودي إن الفكرة بدأت بناءً على اقتراح من زميل لهم وبالتعاون مع مدربين وغواصين متمكنين تم تنفيذ الفكرة التي اعتمدت على تمرير مواسير بلاستيكية 4 بوصة في المياه، ثم عمل فتحات من الأعلى كي يتم ملئها بالرمل من أجل ضمان الإتزان داخل البحر، وبعد تثبيتها والانتهاء من البناء الذي وافق دخول صلاة العصر تمّت الصلاة جماعة في أول مسجد في التاريخ يقام تحت سطح البحر.

The first mosque under sea"Altawheed"


Saudi divers built a mosque called “Altawheed” under water in Miqna beach in Tabuk, north Saudi Arabia.

Hamdan Al-Masoudi, a diver, said that the idea came up with a suggestion of a friend and we implemented the idea with the cooperation of professional instructors and divers. We set 4 inches plastic pipes under the sea, and then we drilled a hole at the top of these pipes to be filled with sand in order to keep equilibrium inside the water. When it was completed, it was time for ASR (Afternoon) prayer, and the divers prayed for the first time in a mosque under water.
